Not released yet. The tracking engine is already cross-platform; what is left is building and notarising the macOS runtime.

Once it has downloaded

Do not double-click the file. Windows does not know this format and will ask which program to open it with. Premiere extensions install through a small free tool instead, and it takes about a minute.

  1. a.
    Get ZXPInstaller. It is free, about 5 MB, and the usual way everyone installs Premiere extensions.
    Open zxpinstaller.com
  2. b.
    Open ZXPInstaller and drag ppro-tracker-0.2.1.zxp onto its window. It reports Successfully installed when it is done.
  3. c.
    Restart Premiere Pro, then open the panel from Window → Extensions → Tracker by Glib Editor.

Anastasiy’s Extension Manager works just as well if you already have it. If Premiere was open while you installed, it has to be restarted before the panel appears.

You will also need

  • • Premiere Pro 14 (2020) or newer.
  • • A licence to write keyframes. Tracking itself runs without one, so you can see it work on your own footage first.
